The Rebellion - LIve at the Bessborough Airs this Tuesday April 3rd on Shaw TV at 7 pm as part of Shaws Stripped Down 150 Anniversary Episode! This is only a shaw TV but we will be broadcasting on Youtube at a later date, but for those who have signed up to the site as Members, get EXCLUSIVE VIP access to the Live concert in the members section and will be able to watch it off our website on Tuesday!
This Intimate Concert was recorded live at the Delta Bessborugh in their historic Adam Ballroom! So watch the group, play selections off of their new album "II" and a song as well, in the beautiful surroundings of a grand 1930's Ballroom! Christian on his way to Africa!!!
Our brother Christian Kongawi is finally safely on his way to Kinchasa, Congo / Africa to fulfil the final plan of our Charity Organization, HELP DRC / I AM YOUR NEIGHBOR .
He is going down to help hammer and nail and oversee construction of the 3 schools from his home town that have been destroyed in the civil unrest of the country. The Rebellions own Josh Palmer had the honor of jamming with Canadian Rock Innovator and front man for Wide Mouth Mason, Mr. Shaun Verreault at his home concert last night at Buds on Broadway in Saskatoon!!! Josh got to jam on 2 songs, Let Me Love You Baby by Stevie Ray Vaughn, then Fronted an inspired Jam of Freddy Kings 'Goin Down'!!! Joined by Shaun was his band mates and good friends of The Rebellion, Mr. Danny White on drums! Mr. Tim Vaughan on Bass and Mr. Curtis Scarrow on Second Guitar! It was a fantastic night of Guitar Inspired innovative Jamming!

Our own Christian Kongawi, Rylan Schultz and Josh Palmer have been very hard at work for the last 2 months, promoting Christian's Charity Foundation, I AM YOUR NEIGHBOR.
A charity specifically designed to help Congo, African school system Rebuild their 3 of their Schools. One of which Christian attended when he was a child in the Congo. This is a unique cause because of the strong personal connection that Christian has to his place of birth! Our past events at Lydias January 27th Benefit Pot Luck Concert, and Last weeks Japa Dogs Charity Dinner at Sushiro Restaurant has raised a great amount of money to help rebuild the school. All it takes is 10 Thousands Dollars to rebuild the 3 schools in the district! ( Its really nothing by western Standards ) So help them raise their goal. Thats right Rebels! Josh Palmer got to open for the legendary Prince at his after party in Calgary! It was a totally random and amazing experience! He was also hired to use his incredible mixing skills to do sound for Prince and his band as they jammed until 4 am! sorry no pictures though, Prince has a strict no camera policy.
